With the KFW 442 you have your own charging station for your home
With the “ Solar Power for Electric Cars ” grant ( KFW 442 ), the KFW supports the purchase and installation of a charging station for electric cars in combination with a photovoltaic system and a solar power storage system. The aim of the funding is to enable you to charge your electric car with self-generated, climate-friendly solar power.
Since our charging columns or stands are necessary for a proper free-standing installation of the wallbox, these should of course be supported.
Solar power for electric cars - KFW 442 funding program
Would you like to make your contribution to sustainability and at the same time benefit from the financial advantages of electromobility? KfW Bank's new funding program "Solar power for electric cars - KFW 442" makes it possible! In this article you will find out everything you need to know about the funded measures and how you can benefit from this attractive funding.
1. Purchase a new charging station with at least 11 kW charging power
With the KFW 442 funding program, you receive financial support when purchasing a high-performance charging station, such as a wallbox, that has at least 11 kilowatts (kW) of charging power. This enables you to charge your electric car quickly and efficiently within your own four walls.
2. Purchase a new photovoltaic system with at least 5 kWp peak output
KFW Bank also supports the purchase of a new photovoltaic system with a peak output of at least 5 kilowatt peak (kWp). With this system you can produce your own solar power and thus reduce your energy costs.
3. Purchase a new solar power storage system with at least 5 kWh of usable storage capacity
The purchase of a new solar power storage system with a capacity of at least 5 kilowatt hours (kWh) is also eligible. This storage allows you to store solar power generated during the day and use it at night or when needed, increasing your independence from expensive grid power.
4. Installation and connection of the entire system, including all installation work
The KFW 442 funding not only covers the purchase of the components, but also the professional installation and connection of the entire system. This ensures that your new electric mobility and energy generation solution works optimally.
5. Energy management system to control the entire system
So that you can efficiently control your energy production and the charging process of your electric car, the funding program also supports the implementation of an energy management system. This intelligent system allows you to optimally coordinate your energy sources and consumers.
With the KFW 442 funding program you are taking an important step towards environmentally friendly mobility and energy self-sufficiency. Not only do you save money, you also make a valuable contribution to climate protection. Take advantage of this opportunity and benefit from the diverse advantages of electromobility in conjunction with renewable energies.
